This beautiful home dubbed “The Safe House,” designed by KWK Promes is designed to seal up completely to protect you from the impending zombie invasion. Especially with the new Contagion movie coming out, I can imagine the owner of this home feeling safe and secure as the world around them is falling apart. While it looks like a concrete box when completed closed with one giant roll up door resembling a Costco warehouse, when opened up it reveals a beautiful modern home, complete with an all glass entry way and glass indoor pool. Even if that wasn’t enough there is a thick concrete wall surrounding the entire property and solar panels on the roof to give you a comfortable self sustaining environment to not just survive in but flourish. I would love to see more photos of the interior to see if they had through through ideas such as indoor hydroponics for indoor farming, maybe water towers for fresh water collection and some mirroring system to bring in outdoor sunlight when the building is completely closed.
